Sheneen Daniels, Ph.D.

PSYCHOLOGIST & CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Sheneen Daniels is a child psychologist who has specialized in autism and learning differences over the past 25 years. She is the Clinical Director for CReATE, a group of amazing psychologists and support staff – all dedicated to helping kids and families (and adults!) learn more about themselves and access meaningful supports.

Dr. Daniels received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Western Carolina University and her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama. She completed her doctoral internship through LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following, Dr. Daniels received post-doctoral training in neuropsychology through Children’s Hospital of New Orleans and participated in a two-year post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology through Clinical Neuroscience Services of WNC. She has also been a psychologist with the UNC TEACCH Autism program for over a decade.

Dr. Daniels is passionate about neurodiverse learners. She wants kids and adults to feel empowered by their assessment results. Specifically, by learning more about how their unique brains work and celebrating their many gifts and talents while also finding tools to support their challenges.

In her spare time, she enjoys live music, hiking, camping, and exploring the blue ridge mountains with her husband, teenagers, and pup.
