More about our process and how our psychologists assure they have the most relevant, important, and timely information available about you or your child.

When someone is struggling, it’s not always clear why, which makes it hard to know how to help. A comprehensive evaluation can provide detailed insights into how you or your child functions, so effective strategies and supports can be identified. It can also confirm or rule out diagnoses, determine how a diagnosis affects various aspects of life, pinpoint potential risks, and outline the need for services.

By tailoring evaluations to individual needs and questions, we focus on identifying strengths and areas for growth. Ultimately, the individualized assessment process helps us understand each person's unique qualities and challenges, so we can help you find the right support and interventions.

We work with you or your child through activities, tests, and conversations. Similar to a school day, with plenty of time for breaks and a lot of individualized support.

Sharing Results
Sharing Results

We meet with you to carefully review results, answer questions, and formulate a plan. We then prepare an individualized written report that you can share with others.

Types of Testing

Psychoeducational Evaluation

This evaluation is all about understanding how you or your child learns and thinks. A very comprehensive and thorough evaluation that includes tests that measure different types of reasoning, memory, cognitive processing and educational skills.

Psychological Evaluation


Includes the learning and processing components of the psychoeducational evaluation but also adds assessment of socioemotional, behavioral, mental health, or clinical domains. 

Neuropsychological Evaluation

Includes the learning and processing components of the psychoeducational evaluation but adds assessment of underlying brain functions for more complex problems.
