Scott Miller, Psy.D.
Dr. Scott Miller is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Miller was the first psychologist to join the CReATE team and he has conducted numerous comprehensive psychological evaluations including evaluations for learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and a variety of mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral conditions since its inception. As a senior psychologist with CReATE, Dr. Miller trains, supervises, and provides consultative services to graduate students, psychologists, and other clinicians. Dr. Miller received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Argosy University in Atlanta, completing his pre-doctoral internship at the University of Virginia and a post- doctoral fellowship at Georgia State University. Before becoming a psychologist, Dr. Miller worked for seven years as an instructor and administrator for the North Carolina Outward Bound School. Combining his knowledge of outdoor behavioral healthcare (OBH) with comprehensive and clinically sophisticated evaluations, Dr. Miller is highly requested for his expertise in the assessment of complex adolescents and young adults presenting to wilderness therapy programs.
