Cara B. Reeves, Ph.D.
Dr. Cara Reeves is a pediatric psychologist with an extensive background in the psychological assessment of children, adolescents and young adults in both clinical and medical settings. During her doctoral training at the University of Mississippi, Dr. Reeves developed her expertise in clinical assessment by serving as a verification specialist and test evaluator for the University of Mississippi Student Disability Services and Psychology Assessment Clinic. During her clinical internship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Dr. Reeves gained invaluable training and experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations on pediatric cancer survivors where she developed a programmatic line of research examining the cognitive sequelae of pediatric brain tumors and leukemia. During her post-doctoral fellowship, Dr. Reeves worked on a federally-funded grant at the Medical University of South Carolina conducting neuropsychologically-based evaluations of pediatric cancer survivors. She currently holds a position as clinical psychologist for a comprehensive weight management program for children ages 6-21 at the Children’s Hospital of the Greenville Health System. Dr. Reeves joined CReATE in 2007 where she continues to provide comprehensive psychological evaluations on a contract basis.
